We believe every cat deserves a chance to live.
Our mission is to save special-needs and senior cats.
Inspired by Bruce Springsteen, the E. Street Band, and the power of music to heal, unite, and overcome,
BORN TO PURR
seeks to build a community, save lives, and leave a legacy.
We're driving all night towards the promised land
where cats of all ages and abilities
live out their glory days.
The need is now.
Should age or ailments determine the value of a life? Sadly, for cats, it does. The ASPCA reports that 80% of senior cats in shelters are euthanized, and special needs cats make up half of all cats euthanized daily. This comes out to nearly 2,000 cats a day.
Let’s change that.
Senior cats are some of the best companion cats around, after all, they’ve been around the block a time or two. And special needs cats are just that: special. They have panther-like spirits, loving hearts, and with a little TLC, they can live happy lives.
Born to Purr Sanctuary believes that all cats matter. We know there are people out there who believe the same; we invite people to join our cause and see these felines purr another day.
